In the initial stages, the hormonal disorder can be treated by taking the hormonal supplements or by taking medicines, but if it reaches the advanced stages surgical removal of the glands is necessary or other complex treatment procedure.
As we all know that prevention is better than cure or early treatment of many endocrine and metabolic conditions with an effective change in the lifestyle of the individual is a preferred measure, but in an advanced stage where therapy is required, we prefer effective and safe therapies that have been tested and approved completely. As many therapeutic advances are being developed, based on new observations and evidence-based medicines which are having an impact on the use and application of these treatments, resulting in the approval of many anti-obesity drugs for long term use which lead to the banning of many drugs from the market due to safety issues
Like other specialties, endocrinology and metabolism have been revolutionized by advances in molecular biology, clinical chemistry, and therapies. Therapeutic advances in endocrinology and metabolism include developments in both the existing and investigational treatments. The main goals is to make chronic diseases such as type 1 diabetes mellitus curable.

As therapeutic advances are being developed, keeping up with these changes and having a clear understanding of the new trends in research and technology is essential for our practice.
